WHO WE ARE
24HOURGAMES is Andy "Hoop" Sheppard and Jack "Ajax" McClellan. We are both
former players, and we gear
everything toward what we've seen in the past and what our players want to see
in the present and future. Collectively, we've
played in well over a hundred scenario games throughout the United States
since 1998 and we have produced games in Georgia since 2002.
Excluding any special events, all of our games are held at
our home field, Absolute Paintball [formerly Paintballs and More
('05-'06) and Regulator's Outpost ('00-'05)]. The field is located about 30 minutes
south of Chattanooga and one hour north of Atlanta, one mile off
of Interstate 75. The field is roughly 75 acres of nearly level terrain,
including a large creek and a small stream, as well as a great
mixture of thick and thin trees with plenty of unique
land features and structures to battle it out in. In
addition to what's there already... we're always working
toward building a bigger and better field! We try to
build out at least one new area, or building, between each game.
Our most recent addition is about 900 feet of WW II
trenches
in a one-acre clearing, just north of the big creek.
Starting in 2005, we decided to become Georgia's only
Bring Your Own Paint scenario producer
[and one of
only a very few in the country!] We still offer a wide
variety of paint at the games, but it is no longer mandatory
that you buy our paint. This is a HUGE
advantage for the players! Want to go get a paint
sponsorship? Go for it! You like shooting yellow
paint? Go for it! Your gun works well with a
certain brand of paint? Sweet! Don't like spending
$80+ on somebody's mandatory [usually junk] paint? Our
cheapest paint is $32 per case [2,000 rounds]. Our most expensive paint (Marballizer) is
only $58/case!
You'll find that we take every
effort to offer a great experience to all of the players.
We've got a GREAT set of "regulars" from the surrounding area,
and we draw players from as far away as New Jersey and
Washington state. We're also very active in having current information
to all of the players via our online
forums. We also HEAVILY
encourage new players to get into the sport, and we have been very
successful in bringing in new faces to Georgia's scenario
paintball family!
We offer rental equipment to
those without gear - so you've got no excuse not to bring your
buddy and get him hooked too! Its also a great way to "try
before you buy" using rental equipment before actually
purchasing it without knowing if you'll like paintball or not.
We sponsor a father/son campaign to encourage
family involvement in scenario paintball. Its a GREAT
way for parents and their children to bond, and to have
lasting memories and cool stories to tell!! For each
playing father, the son (10-15) gets in for 1/2
price! That's right!! 1/2 off entry and 1/2 off air!
So much of the scenario paintball "experience" is knowing what to do - especially
for the first-time player - so we have compiled an extensive "Survival
Guide" and an "all-encompassing" set of
Rules that is unique to
24HourGames. Those two guides total 50+ pages of
detailed information that most places omit, don't think
about, or condense into nonsensical lists that nobody reads
because they don't give "real world" examples. Ours
does. Even if you don't "get" the rules, we even offer
a "Boot Camp" for all players several times before each game to
give players a "boots on the ground" rundown of what they'll
encounter during the game!
