On November 30th,
2002, the United States began invading Panama in order to bring its President, Manuel
Noriega, to justice for drug trafficking and to stop his tyrannous rule over
Panama.
Noriega seized political control over Panama in 1983 when he became head of the National Guard. From this position, Noriega was able to build up the Country’s military and manipulate elections so that the winning presidents would be under his control. Corruption and drug trafficking were widespread during Noriega's rule, and he was able to use his power to imprison and sometimes kill anyone who opposed him.
On November 25th, 2002, the Panamanian legislature declared Noriega President of the Country, sparking tensions between the US and Panama and bringing both countries closer to an inevitable war.
Following the shooting of a U.S. Marine in Panama on November 29th, 2002, the
U.S. military slipped into Panama and sat poised to take action against the
militant factions of Noriega's government.

The Panamanians were fighting for their way of life, namely producing and
shipping drugs into the United States, as well as to appease the current President; Manuel Noriega. The Americans were fighting to end the flow of drugs into the United States from the region, and to remove Panama’s notorious
leader from power.
History tells us the actual result of our involvement in Panama… but will the scenario paintball re-enactment come out the same??? Come out to the new Regulator’s Outpost scenario paintball field in Dalton Georgia to find out if history repeats itself…
